We are now three weeks in to the 2023 season, and have one weekend remaining in the Non-Conference weekend schedule. The Niners sit at 5-7, with a 1-3 week last week. This week Charlotte will host UNC Wilmington at Atrium Health Ballpark on Wednesday night and then return to the Hayes for a series with former conference foe Old Dominion.
It is probably still too early to pay attention to RPI at this point but with three weekends of games, you can start to see things settling a little bit. We use Warren Nolan as our source for RPI data. Conference USA had some big wins this week: LaTech beat #4 Ole Miss, FAU beat #22 Miami, & Rice beat #24 Texas Tech. Overall Conference USA is 66-52.
